everything works fine, but when I listen to the mic input through the headphones it only plays through the left side of my headphones. I don't know if this is a me issue or a bug

Not a bug, and an easy fix. Many USB mics send their sound on the left channel only, so it plays in your left ear. In Patchd, click your mic's device name at the top of its channel, and under your mic in the list pick **Mono**. That plays it in both ears. It only changes that one input, and you can switch back to Stereo the same way.

yep that fixed it thanks! I do have an XLR microphone but it goes into an audio interface that is USB so I wonder if that is why it needs the mono configuration
