Do I need to know audio engineering to use Patchd?
No. Patchd shows your routing as color-coded connections instead of a wall of dropdowns, and every DSP node ships with sensible defaults. If you can picture where you want your audio to go, you can set it up. See how audio routing works
Does Patchd work with my existing audio interface?
Yes. Patchd is ASIO compatible and supports WASAPI Exclusive, so it works alongside any hardware audio interface. Your audio hardware doesn't need to change.
What's the latency really like?
About 10.7 ms through the bus at a 512 buffer on consumer hardware, so the engine adds very little. Smaller ASIO buffers take it lower. Voice effects add their own latency, and we show it separately so the number stays honest. How voice changers handle latency
Do I need a powerful PC to run Patchd?
No. Patchd is built lean. If you can run modern audio software, you can run Patchd.

Patchd is in open beta now: apply and, if you clear the terms, your invitation arrives straight away. We are targeting late 2026 for the public release, and the waitlist is how you hear about it.

Do you offer Mac or Linux versions?
Not yet. Patchd is Windows-only at launch. Mac and Linux are on the roadmap but not committed to a timeline.
