Is there a way to not have Discord friend's voice shared during "Entire Screen" sharing?

Been trying Patchd out with Discord which is working great in terms of microphone settings. However, when sharing my entire screen through Discord my friend can hear his own voice feeding into the stream as they talk. Is there any way to fix this?

This is something we need to fix in Patchd. Discord's Entire Screen share records the sound of every app playing through Windows' normal audio mix. Discord leaves out its own audio, but when Discord's sound goes through Patchd first, it comes back out of Patchd into that mix, so Discord records your friend's voice and sends it back to them.

The fix we plan: an Exclusive option for each Patchd output. With it on, Patchd sends sound straight to your headphones, outside the mix Windows shares, so Discord can't pick it up. Other apps then can't play to those headphones directly, which is why it will be an option you turn on, not the default. We'll reply here when it's out.

Until then, either of these works around it:

    1. Share a window instead of your entire screen. In Discord's screen share picker, choose the app you want to show. Discord then sends only that app's sound. 2. Send Discord's sound straight to your headphones. In Discord, open User Settings > Voice & Video and set Output Device to your headphones. Your Patchd microphone setup stays the same. The catch: Discord's sound then skips Patchd, so Patchd's fader and effects won't touch it.
